Who looks after your data

SoundIn Limited, registered in Scotland, is the data controller. Contact hello@soundin.scot.

What we collect and why

We collect your email address and, if you choose to provide it, your role. We also record when you signed up, where the record came from and the privacy version for your consent. We use this to tell you when Holocron opens and about early access. Our lawful basis is your consent.

Where it is kept

Signup records are stored with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in its London region (eu-west-2). AWS processes data on our behalf. We do not sell your details or share them with third parties for their own purposes.

Requests are served through Amazon CloudFront edge locations, while stored data stays in London.

We use no analytics or cookies. Our operational logs record request identifiers and outcomes, not email addresses, and are kept for 30 days.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it or 12 months after launch, whichever comes first.

Deleted records may remain in protected recovery backups for up to 35 days. We reapply deletion requests before using restored data.

Your choices and rights

You can withdraw consent at any time and ask for access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or a portable copy, and object to processing by emailing hello@soundin.scot. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
